We got our first real snow of the season last night and I saw something like six accidents driving home from school. Supposedly, according to a radio station, there were sixteen or eighteen, of course through this little patch of area where I had to drive. Something about six lanes of freeway in both directions being slowed to a crawl because of being unable to see the lines in the road is just freaking scary. But, made it home safe and sound and had a stiff drink and a nap and it’s all good this morning.
I made a list a few days ago that I thought I’d share. It’s called “Things I’ve Used As Bookmarks.” Don’t you about y’all, but sometimes you just need a bookmark and there’s nothing appropriate handy. Those fifty-odd markers that float around? The gnomes abscond with them just at the right moment, leaving you in the lurch. So these are some of the things that find themselves doing double-duty between my pages. Feel free to add your own. I have a feeling this could get good. :-)
